If you could save only one precious possession of yours from being destroyed or left behind, what would you save? Write a short paragraph identifying the item and telling why it is valuable to you.

PSAT and ACT
The PSAT is October 13th and the PLAN (ACT) is October 19th. Also there are two study sessions available. Both sessions are on September 14th here at RSS. Sylvan Learning Center is holding the sessions for FREE!! Make sure you sign up. I have the information if you need a sign up form.
PSAT will be offered to students in grades 9-11. Students must register and pay for the PSAT and the cost is $15. Some Juniors may be eligible for a fee waiver. The top 50 sophomores, top 50 juniors and 9th Grade AVID students will have the fee paid by the district. We will test in the upstairs gym.
October 19 – PLAN – This will be a district-wide exam given to all 10th graders. The best description of this test is a pre-ACT. Here is a link where you can get more information about the exam - http://www.act.org/plan/downloads.html - The exam will be given in the EAST ANNEX and we will use 10th grade teachers as test administrators.

The Mythology Assignment
I think some people are forgetting to hit the submit button a second time. When turning in your Mythology assignment to turnitin.com, you should click the submit button, then name and upload your paper, after being redirected to a page where you will see a preview of your paper you should click submit one more time. Please go to Turnitin.com now to make sure your dot is no longer marigold (or red) and is instead GREEN. I will not count it late if you fix it today!!
